J. Snodgrass, a church planter with the IMB in South Asia, critically reviews David Sills’ 2010 book Reaching and Teaching, a Call to Great Commission Obedience in the October 2011 issue of Global Missiology. Sills’ book contains considerable criticism of CPM methodology. Snodgrass says that Sills presents a caricature of CPM methodology and its practitioners that is not based on all the evidence. He adds that Sills’ view of CPM is oversimplified and overstated.
